VTT - Velo Touts Terrains (Mountain Biking)
Morzine/Les
Gets has some of the best mountain biking terrain in the alps, with
400 km of marked trails and 24 lifts open there are some excellent
opportunities for days ridding.
There
are also specific down hill trails, including the 3.25 km World
Cup course in Les Gets and the Avalanche Cup course in Morzine.

Trip Lets Gets (5 hours)
An
easy circuit to Lets Gets and back - through the mountains
and along quite mountain roads.

put the bikes on the Pleney cable car and it is [mostly] down

Lac Montriond (3 Hours)
An
intermediate ride to and around Lac Montriond. |

| The
VTT trail runs through the woods and crosses a number of streams
and passes some scenic waterfalls. It is quite an arduous climb
to the lake, but you can role all the way home. |

Visit
Switzerland (All Day)
A
Long day out for advanced riders. Start by either cycling
to Les Lindarets or take the Super Morzine Lift to Avoriaz.
Make
your way to the Mossette lift, which will take you to the
Swiss border.
It
is a steep decsent into Switzerland. |

There
are several VTT parks in Switzerland, as well as some great
restaurants for lunch.Make sure you get the last lift to the
top of the Mossette and then you have a fantastic 15 km downhill
ride home.

Hill
The
2004 World Cup downhill course in Les Gets is open to the
public when not in use for competitions. |
